01. Introduction
By using Hubba.Studio, you agree to this policy. We believe in radical transparency about how we handle your data, which is to say, we handle as little as possible.
Hubba.Studio is a SaaS-only platform with no self-hosting option. All services are delivered through our cloud infrastructure, which we manage and maintain. This architecture enables us to provide enhanced security, automatic updates, and consistent performance while minimizing the data we need to collect and store.
02. Information We Collect
Database Credentials
To connect to your database, we need your database host, port, database name, username, and password. This is the minimum information required to establish a connection between your browser and your database server.
Critical: Your credentials are stored in-memory only during your session. Never written to disk or logs. Destroyed when you disconnect.
Usage Data
Like most web services, we collect basic technical information to keep the platform running smoothly. This includes your browser type and version, anonymized IP address, which pages you visit, and which features you use. When errors occur, we log them with all personal information stripped out so we can fix bugs without compromising your privacy.
Communications
If you reach out to us for support or feedback, we'll collect your email address and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry and improve our service based on your feedback.
03. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect serves two primary purposes: delivering the service you came here for, and making it better over time.
Service Delivery
Your database credentials are used exclusively to establish connections between your browser and your database server, execute the operations you request, and provide the visual editor interface. That's it. The moment you disconnect, those credentials are gone.
Service Improvement
We analyze anonymized usage patterns to understand which features are most valuable and where people encounter friction. When bugs occur, we review error logs to fix them quickly. This feedback loop helps us build features that actually matter and eliminate pain points you might not even report.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We don't share it with third parties except where legally required.
04. Data Security
memoryIn-Memory Sessions
Database credentials exist only in server memory during active sessions. Never written to disk.
timer_offAutomatic Expiration
Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. All data is immediately destroyed.
lockEncryption
All data uses TLS encryption in transit. Your connection is secure end-to-end.
visibility_offYour Database Data
We do not access, read, or store the actual data in your databases. Data flows directly between your browser and your database server.
05. Your Rights
You have complete control over your personal information. You can access any personal data we hold about you, request corrections if something's inaccurate, or ask us to delete it entirely. If you've given consent for optional data processing, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
If you believe we're not handling your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We take these concerns seriously and will work with you to resolve any issues.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our form. We'll respond within 30 days.
