01. Agreement to Terms
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email if you have an account.
02. Description of Service
Hubba.Studio is a SaaS-only web-based visual database management platform for MySQL and MariaDB. It lets you connect to your databases, view and edit data through a spreadsheet-like interface, manage tables and schema, and get AI Assistant-powered guidance when you need it. Think of it as a modern alternative to traditional database tools, designed for speed and simplicity.
SaaS-only Platform: Hubba.Studio is a SaaS-only platform delivered exclusively as a cloud-hosted service. We handle all infrastructure, hosting, and maintenance. There is no self-hosting option available.
Service Availability
The service is currently free during our testing phase. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll give you advance notice and existing users will have grandfathered access to core features.
No Warranty:The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
03. Your Responsibilities
Database Access
You're responsible for your database credentials and ensuring you have permission to access any databases you connect to. Use appropriate database user permissions. If you only need to view data, use a read-only account. If something goes wrong because of improper credentials or permissions, that's on you, not us.
Acceptable Use
Use the service responsibly. Don't use it for illegal activities, don't try to hack or disrupt it, don't abuse or overload our servers, and don't violate anyone else's privacy or rights. This is common sense stuff. If you wouldn't want someone doing it to you, don't do it to others.
Your Data
You retain all rights to your database content. We never claim ownership of your data. However, you're responsible for backing it up. Hubba.Studio is a management tool, not a backup service. If data loss occurs for any reason, we're not liable. Always maintain your own backups.
04. Security and Privacy

Your database credentials are stored in-memory only during your session. Never persisted to disk.

Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. You can disconnect manually anytime.

We do not access, read, or store your actual database content. Data flows directly between your browser and your database.

05. Limitation of Liability
We're not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or damage resulting from your use of the Service. We're also not liable for service interruptions, downtime, or unavailability. Things break sometimes, servers go down, networks fail — it's the nature of technology.
Our total liability to you for any claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. Since the service is currently free, that's $0. This might sound harsh, but it's standard for free services and protects us from catastrophic legal exposure while we're building something useful.
Backup Your Data: Always maintain backups of your databases. We are not a backup service. This is critical — treat Hubba.Studio as a tool for managing your data, not storing it.
06. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time — just disconnect and don't come back. No cancellation process, no hoops to jump through. On our end, we may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to for legal or operational reasons.
When access ends (from either side), your right to use the Service stops immediately and all session data is destroyed. Since we don't store your credentials anyway, there's nothing to clean up on your end.
